What can I say? Gus loves his halibut!Yummm! Later we had deep fried Valdez halibut with a crispy salad. As for Gus and the other hounds, welllllll..... they didn't!

Oh Gus, it's just not fair that you didn't get any! You look like you are sitting just perfectly in that first picture. You should have been rewarded for that.

I had halibut everyday I was in AK last month...can't get it that fresh down here and I', aslways disappointed!
Gus is such a sweetie, I think I would have shared w/ him!

I'd be happy to send you a halibut. After a week with the US Postal Service, it would be wonderfully aromatic. Just right to take a good roll in! Rolling in dead salmon and halibut is just one of the lovely advantages of living in Alaska. It is indeed a dog's life!
